It's an ironically named holiday, since most people will be NOT laboring today.
That being said, I hope the staff at our gym are laboring today, because I want to do some laboring by lifting weights, in defiance of the spirit and letter of the day.
Speaking of laboring, my buddy Stefan and I labored something fierce yesterday on the Wright Stuff Century bike ride, hosted by the Bombay Bicycle Club. We only pounded out the short 35-mile route, but it was hilly.
Anyhow, I'm writing this post as the aforementioned substitute for consuming social media, which I'm boycotting. And you should too, for all the myriad reasons elucidated and expounded upon in my prior posts.
