The forsaking was successful. But when the challenge ended, the forsaking did not. It felt so good to avoid and ignore the plurality of Humanity, that I continued the challenge through the weekend.
I drove up north on Saturday morning and rode my bike 25 miles around Shell Lake, by way of visiting my parents. My sister joined us on Saturday night into Sunday. These were the only unforsaken humans I associated with for most of the duration of the weekend.
On Sunday morning, I drove back home and the forsaking officially ended when I attended a fitness themed house party, at which my band GUPPY EFFECT performed.
I realized in retrospect that I inadvertently un-forsook Humanity by driving on public roadways. And the Humanity on said roadways reminded my WHY Humanity was in dire need of forsaking in the first place. These are miserable souls who largely should not be allowed to operate motor vehicles.
I write this on Monday morning, appreciative of the fact that I survived Humanity's cruelty and loss of moral integrity.
Fin.
